Tebogo joined SERI as a Candidate Attorney in 2021 after having previously worked as a Research Intern in July 2020. She holds a BA Law and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Human rights Advocacy and Litigation at the same university. She also has interests in pursuing an LLM looking into the impact of service delivery cases in addressing the harsh reality that is faced by the majority black population in South Africa. 

Tebogo previously served a legal internship with Lawyers for Human Rights at the Refugee and Migrants unit. At university, she served as the community outreach co-ordinator for Students for Law and Social Justice and coordinated a community outreach at Tembisa Secondary School with the assistance of CALS, Black Lawyers Association UJ, SERI and Tselanyane Incorporated. The outreach aimed at empowering the community by educating them about particular issues regarding housing, gender based violence, labor law and family law.  She has volunteered as student assistance and Graduate Recruitment Programme Ambassador for the Counseling, Careers and Development Unit at Wits University. She was also selected by the Gauteng South African Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges to be a mentee in the organisation. 

Tebogo has interests in community development, advancing the rights of marginalized communities and using the law as a conduit for socio-economic change in South Africa.
