Anna Alcaro

Anna Alcaro is a Fulbright Fellow who conducted research at SERI from September 2011 until August 2012. While at SERI, her research focused on issues of poverty and water rights/access, and how these are potentially affected because of climate change. She also worked with different environmental social movements across Johannesburg.  

Before coming to SERI, Anna received her BA in Anthropology from The Pennsylvania State University where she focused on geography and African studies. In 2010, she served a term with AmeriCorps in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she worked with inner-city youth.
