Naadira Munshi joined SERI as a research fellow in October 2012. She worked as a researcher on SERI’s legal teams at the Marikana Commission of Inquiry representing the families of the mineworkers killed at Marikana in August 2012, as well the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union. Since September 2015, Naadira has focused her work on political space, including working with farmworkers in the Western Cape. She completed her BA honours in Sociology and is currently completing her MA in Sociology focusing on trade unionism in South Africa's post-apartheid platinum belt.
