Nkosinathi Sithole first joined SERI in January 2014 and registered his articles of clerkship in January 2015. He was promoted to Senior Attorney in February 2020. Nkosinathi completed an LLB degree at the University of Witwatersrand in 2014, after having completed his Practical Legal Training with L.E.A.D in Auckland Park in 2013. He has worked as a research assistant for the University of Cape Town at the South and North Gauteng High Courts and the Office of the Master of the South Gauteng High Court.
Nkosinathi's interests are politics, current affairs involving the struggles of the working class and its movements in South Africa, constitutional law and human rights law. He hopes to broaden his horizon in public interest litigation, legal writing and publication on issues involving socio-economic rights while at SERI.
