Keaton Allen-Gessesse joined SERI as a litigation intern in September 2016.
Keaton completed her J.D. from Harvard Law School where she was a student-attorney in the Immigration and Refugee Clinic and the International Human Rights Clinic. Keaton has completed legal internships at International Federation of Human Rights in Paris and at the Khmer Rouge Trials in Cambodia. As a student, she was an active member of the Royall Must Fall and Reclaim Harvard Law student movements. She received her B.A. from University of Michigan in Political Science and African American Studies.
Keaton’s interests include social movements and intersectional feminism.
